The neat thing here is that you do not need to buy any of those powdered carpet scents, so this works for rooms with hardwood floors. And if you have kids or pets, who wants to sprinkle chemicals on the floors in any case? If you prefer other scents, you can try other essential oils like orange, peppermint, eucalyptus, clove or anything you love!

1. Soak a cotton ball in your favorite essential oil.
2. Put the cotton ball in the bag of your vacuum, or in the plastic cup for bagless vacuum cleaners.
3. As you vacuum the room, the scented cotton ball will get warm and fill your room with heavenly aromatherapy!
