Dr Oz: Hot Cocoa Face Mask Recipe

Dr Oz did a show called Dr Oz’s 12 Days of Christmas.  For the Fifth Day of Christmas, Doctor Oz suggested making a face mask out of cocoa, which is rich in antioxidants and helps you to prevent sun damage.  Cocoa also contains fatty acids to help your skin stay nourished.  Yogurt keeps your skin moist while honey reduces redness and any inflammation your skin might have.  And finally, oatmeal is the perfect exfoliant – even for people with sensitive skin!  Here is the recipe for Dr Oz’s Hot Cocoa Face Mask!

Doctor Oz Hot Cocoa Face MaskDr Oz Cocoa Face Mask Ingredients:

-3 TB cocoa

– 3 TB plain yogurt

– 1.5 TB raw honey

– 1.5 TB oatmeal

Dr Oz Hot Cocoa Face Mask Recipe:

1.  Mix together all of the ingredients.

2.  Leave the face mask on for 20 minutes.

3.  Rinse the Hot Cocoa Facial off.

As a side note – Dr Oz mentioned during his show that he also adds some water to this face mask recipe.  So, if you notice that your face mask is too thick, you can thin it down with a tiny bit of water.
