11 Skin Tag Remedies to Remove Polyps Naturally At Home

Remove Polyps (Skin Tags) Naturally

Skin tags, also referred to as polyps, are benign growths that tend to grow in the areas around your neck, face and armpits, in areas that tend to move around a lot. While the most common way to get rid of a polyp is through surgery, there are a number of ways to get rid of them without going under the knife.

Block Blood Circulation to Remove Skin Tags

If you want that skin tag gone in a week, all it takes is some string. Tie string around the skin tag to cut off the blood circulation and this should cause the skin tag to fall off in a week as long as the string is left on the skin tag. This method may cause some irritation and discomfort around the skin tag, but that’s the price of beauty I guess.

How to Cut Off a Skin Tag

This is the least likely recommended but it does work. First, make sure the scalpel you are using is sterilized. Next, numb the area with ice for 10 minutes. Finally, cut off the skin tag and apply some antiseptic cream to make sure you don’t get an infection.

Garlic to Remove Skin Tags

This might not seem like it works, but it does. Simply slice a few cloves of garlic into thin pieces and then secure some of those pieces on the skin tag with duct tape. Allow the garlic to stay on the skin tag all day, making sure to add fresh slices every now and then. Before going to bed, take off the tape and garlic and rinse the skin tag. Do this for a few days and the skin tag should fall off.

Caution: Do not do it for more than three days. If the skin tag is still there, take a week off the treatment and try seven days later.

Apple Cider Vinegar Gets Rid of Skin Tags

What isn’t Apple Cider Vinegar good for? Well, it’s good for removing skin tags. With warm water, get the skin tag wet. When the skin becomes soft,  soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and press to the skin tag for about 20 minutes. Do this a few times a day until the skin tag falls off.

The tag should begin to shrivel up and fall off within the next few months.

Castor Oil Removes Skin Tags

Mixing Castor Oil with baking soda is a great way to remove a skin tag. Just make a paste with the two products and apply it to the skin tag three times a day until the skin tag falls off. It could take up to three weeks.

Vitamin E Removes Skin Tags

One of the best ways to remove a skin tag safely and effectively is with vitamin E. Apply the vitamin E to the skin tag and then cover it with a cloth band aid or some duct tape. Apply the vitamin E a few times a day and the skin tag should come off within a few weeks. Even wear it at night to get the skin tag off sooner.

Tea Tree Oil Removes Skin Tag

Tea Tree Oil is very acidic, meaning it is great for removing skin tags. All you need to do is apply some of the oil to the skin tag three times a day, making sure to not rinse it off throughout the day,  until the skin tag falls off. For people with very sensitive skin, dilute the oil with water to make it less harsh on your skin.

Asphyxiate Skin Tags to Remove Them

Depriving the skin tag of oxygen will also cause it to fall off. One way to do this is by applying something airtight right over the skin tag. This could mean using nail polish or a liquid band aid. This should make the tag fall off in just over a week.

Aspirin to Remove Skin Tags

Aspirin is one  remedy that work quite well for skin tags because acetylsalicylic acid in the aspirin shrinks the skin tag. To apply the aspirin to the skin tag, crush up a few aspirin and then apply the powder to the skin tag, holding it in place with duct tape. Do this every day for a few weeks and the tag should fall off.

I have a skin tag on my neck and had applied garlic oil for few days. After some days my skin tag was turned black and fell off. I think garlic oil is the best solution to remove skin tags easily at home.
