Natural Bathtub Cleaner vs DIY Homemade Scrubbing Bubbles
It’s no secret that I love to clean. When I moved into my new apartment and found out I was getting a bathroom to myself, my first thought was how I would be the only one allowed to dirty it. No more sharing a dorm bathroom, no more brothers to make the place a mess. The only smells would be my body wash and hand soap.
Oh, how I was wrong. You don’t realize how messy one human being is until you have a bathroom to yourself. The hair alone was dizzying. Sparing the gory details, I’ve started learning the best ways to clean your bathroom. Especially after my recent run in with a bottle of Scrubbing Bubbles.
Is Scrubbing Bubbles Toxic & Bad For Your Health?
I sprayed down the tub with Scrubbing Bubbles and threw on a pair of pink cleaning gloves. Armed with a scrub brush, I got to work. About two minutes after my spraying and scrubbing began I had to leave the bathroom for air. The bleachy-chlorine smell was unbearable in such a small space with little ventilation. I eventually finished and Clorox wiped the counters and toilet.
The smell then permeated into the rest of the apartment. My roommate and I fled for a little bit because of the overpowering odor. In case you’ve ever been fumigated out of your home by cleaning products, try these on for size. These DIY Natural Bathtub Scrubs and Homemade Bathtub Cleaners are great at removing scum, have zero toxic chemicals, are all natural and you may just have all of the ingredients in your kitchen!

In batches, add the eggshells to a coffee grinder and grind it into a powder to make your calcium powder. Add the baking soda and essential oils, mixing until there are no clumps.
